What We Encounter in Prestonfield
Common Bathroom Fitting Issues in Prestonfield
Before any job in Prestonfield we assess for these common issues. Knowing about them in advance means no surprises mid-job and no hidden costs.
Working Around Older Pipework
Prestonfield's post-war semis and traditional tenement blocks often have older supply and waste pipework that needs careful handling during a refit. We assess this at survey stage and plan around it.
Limited Bathroom Space
Many Prestonfield bathrooms are compact. We maximise every centimetre with clever layout planning and space-efficient fixtures.
Low Water Pressure Affecting Showers
Some Prestonfield properties suffer from lower mains pressure. We test at survey stage and fit a pump where needed so your new shower performs properly.
Waste Connections to Shared or Older Drainage
Connecting new bathroom waste to older or shared drainage in Prestonfield needs to be done correctly to avoid blockages and noise. We handle this to the required standard.
Damp and Poor Ventilation
Older Prestonfield properties can suffer from condensation and damp in bathrooms without adequate ventilation. We fit extractor fans to building regulations standard as a matter of course.
Outdated Suites and Finishes
Many Prestonfield bathrooms simply need modernising. We handle full strip-outs and refits to bring dated bathrooms up to date.
