What We Encounter in Prestonfield
Common Blocked Drains Issues in Prestonfield
Before any job in Prestonfield we assess for these common issues. Knowing about them in advance means no surprises mid-job and no hidden costs.
Root Intrusion in Older Drains
Tree root intrusion is a common cause of blockages in Prestonfield's older drainage. We clear the blockage and advise on longer-term solutions if roots are a recurring issue.
Grease Blockages in Kitchen Drains
Built-up grease and fat is a frequent cause of slow or blocked kitchen drains in Prestonfield homes. We clear these thoroughly, not just push the blockage further down.
Blocked Toilets
A blocked toilet is both urgent and unpleasant. We clear these quickly across Prestonfield using proper rodding equipment.
Slow-Draining Baths and Showers
Hair and soap build-up commonly slows bath and shower drainage in Prestonfield properties. We clear and where needed inspect further up the line.
Blocked External Gullies
External gullies in Prestonfield gardens and back courts can block with leaves and debris, causing surface flooding. We clear these as part of our service.
Collapsed or Damaged Drain Sections
Persistent blockages sometimes point to a collapsed or damaged section of drain. We use CCTV inspection to confirm this in Prestonfield properties before recommending repair.
